Privacy controls
You decide what Z.E.U.S learns from and how long it's kept — and you can see and remove anything it learned.
Allow-list
Z.E.U.S reads only the apps (by bundle id) and sites (by domain, wildcards allowed) on your allow-list. Edit it in Settings → Allow-list; in the Mac app you can pick from your installed apps. You can also add extra blocks on top of the built-in exclusions.
Always excluded
- Password managers: 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, Keychain Access and Passwords.
- Private and incognito browser windows.
- Sign-in, checkout and payment pages (matched by URL and title rules).
- Secure text fields, which are never read.
Redaction
Card numbers, IBANs and bank accounts, SSNs and national IDs, API keys and tokens, JWTs and private keys are replaced on your Mac with placeholders like [CARD] or [SECRET]. The server applies the same rules again.
Pause & forget
From the menu bar: pause recording, or forget the last 15 minutes, hour or today. In the web app, Timeline lets you forget any range.
Retention
Raw recordings are deleted after 30 days by default; choose 1–365 days in Settings. Learned playbooks, facts and episodes are kept until you delete them.
See the source
Every playbook line, fact and Ask answer cites where it came from. Delete an episode or fact and it stops being used.
Devices & clients
Revoke a Mac in Settings → Devices — its token exchange stops immediately. Disconnect MCP clients like Claude Code in Settings → Connected clients.
Export & delete everything
Export all data downloads everything learned. Delete all data removes storage, index rows, search vectors and uploads to model providers. See the Privacy policy for timelines.
