FAQ
Short answers to the questions we hear most.
What exactly does Z.E.U.S record?
Only apps and sites on your allow-list. For those, the Mac app reads the accessibility tree (text and structure), which element you clicked, and what a field changed from and to. It never logs keystrokes and never takes screenshots while learning. Secrets are redacted on your Mac before upload.
How are playbooks learned?
Each night (or when you ask), your activity is normalized into action lines, split into episodes, clustered into task types, and induced into playbooks with Claude Opus 5.5. Every line must quote the actions it came from — code checks every citation before it's saved.
Can the agent do something I didn't approve?
No commit action — send, submit, pay, refund, delete, merge, post — runs without your approval unless you explicitly promote a playbook to autonomous after it has a track record. Runs are scoped to the apps in the work package, budgeted, and stoppable with Esc ×2.
How do I use my playbooks in Claude?
Add the Z.E.U.S MCP server to claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code. You can search playbooks, ask questions, export packages and start runs from Claude, and each active playbook appears as a slash prompt.
Do I need the Mac app to use the web app?
The Mac app is what learns and what runs the agent. The web app at zeus.yskew.com lets you review playbooks, accept proposals, build exports and approve runs from any device.
Is this for teams?
Version 1 is for individuals. Your data is yours alone; there are no shared workspaces or manager views.
Which model does Z.E.U.S use?
Claude Opus 5.5 through the Anthropic API for learning, Ask and the agent, using native computer use for agent runs.
How long until I see playbooks?
After the first nightly run, for tasks you did at least twice. Use Timeline → Process this range to learn from today right away.
What if a playbook is wrong?
Edit it, archive it, or reject the proposal that introduced the change. Every line shows its sources, so you can see why it was learned.
Does the agent work while I use my Mac?
Where it can, the agent acts in the background without moving your cursor or stealing focus. Steps that need focus wait until you're idle or ask first.
Is Windows supported?
Not yet. Windows support is planned after the Mac beta.
What does it cost?
Z.E.U.S is free during the beta.
